- About Bus Wrap Inc
A bus wrap company that handles the entire job
Most brands who buy a bus wrap end up managing three separate vendors: an agency for the artwork, a printer for the vinyl and a body shop for the installation. Bus Wrap Inc does all three under one roof, which means one point of contact, one schedule and nobody to pass the blame to when a panel does not line up.
We have spent more than twenty years on bus wrap advertising for Fortune 500 brands, national retailers, political campaigns, health systems, sports teams and touring productions. Our bus wrap services cover design, large format printing on premium 3M cast vinyl, and installation by 3M certified crews working out of every major market in the country.
We can also supply the vehicle. Through long standing charter partnerships we source motorcoaches, mini buses and sprinter vans with professional drivers, wrap them, and deliver them staged and ready to roll, so a multi city tour becomes a single purchase order rather than six.

Political bus wraps
A campaign bus does three jobs at once. It moves the candidate and the staff, it advertises to every district it drives through, and it becomes the backdrop in every photograph filed from a rally. That makes a political bus wrap one of the hardest working assets on a campaign.
We produce these on compressed timelines and build in swap panels, so a message can be updated between stops without rewrapping the whole coach when the schedule changes at short notice.

A billboard costs the same whether anyone drives past it
A bus wrap goes to the audience instead of waiting for it. One vehicle covers routes a fixed sign never will, at a cost per thousand impressions that very few out of home formats can match.
- How it works
The bus wrapping process, start to finish
1
Consult
A free consultation on vehicle class, markets and dates, so the plan fits the budget before anyone opens a design file. You leave the call knowing what your bus wrap campaign will cost.
2
Design
Artwork built to the exact panel map of your vehicle, with rivets, bay doors and window lines accounted for. Technical file support is included at no extra charge.
3
Large format printing on premium 3M cast vinyl finished with a UV overlaminate, plus perforated one way vision film wherever the design carries across the glass.
4
Install
3M certified crews install in your market on your date, then hand the vehicle back road ready. Multi vehicle rollouts can go up in several cities on the same weekend.
The first bus wraps appeared in the mid 1980s, when brands began applying vinyl graphics to transit buses to reach audiences that television was starting to lose. Those early panels were crude and partial. Wide format printing and conformable cast film turned them into full vehicle wraps, and the bus stopped being a place to hang an advertisement and became the advertisement itself.
Four decades on, bus wrap advertising sits in an unusual position. It is the oldest trick in out of home, and the one media plans keep returning to. Nobody scrolls past a 45 foot coach. There is no ad blocker for a bus. The impression is unskippable in a way that almost nothing bought online still is, and it costs a fraction of the equivalent digital reach.
That is why wrapped buses turn up wherever attention is genuinely scarce, at product launches, national tours, campaign trails, championship weekends and hospital outreach routes. A bus wrap works one market for months and then moves to the next, which is something a fixed billboard contract will never do.
The other reason is simpler. A bus wrap is a real object in a real street. People photograph it, stand next to it and remember where they saw it. Very little advertising still earns that.
Why not come along for the ride?
How much does a bus wrap cost?
Cost follows surface area and vehicle class. A sprinter van takes roughly 300 square feet of vinyl, while a 45 foot motorcoach takes several times that, plus perforated film if the windows are covered. A partial wrap that uses only the highest visibility panels costs considerably less than full coverage. Send us the vehicle type, the number of units and the markets, and you get a firm number rather than a range.
How long does a bus wrap last?
Premium cast vinyl with a UV overlaminate is rated for roughly five to seven years on vertical surfaces. Campaign wraps rarely stay on that long, since most come off at the end of a tour or a season, but we specify the material so the graphics look the same in month twelve as they did on installation day.
Will bus wrapping damage the paint?
No. Removable cast film is engineered to release cleanly within its rated life, and while it is on the vehicle it shields the paint underneath from stone chips and UV exposure. This matters most on charter coaches you do not own, and most operators prefer a professional wrap to a season of road wear on their factory finish.
Can passengers see out of the wrapped windows?
Yes. Window graphics use perforated one way vision film, so the artwork reads as solid from the street while passengers see out clearly from inside. Driver and front passenger windows are left clear as required by law, and all emergency exits stay marked and fully operable.
How long does the whole process take?
Design and approval move at the speed of your team. Once artwork is signed off, printing and lamination take a few days, and installation usually takes one to three days per vehicle depending on class and coverage. Rush timelines for campaign and tour work are routine here, so tell us the date you need it on the road.
Do you supply the bus as well as the wrap?
We do. Through long standing charter partnerships we source motorcoaches, mini buses, sprinter vans and entertainer coaches with professional drivers, wrap them, and deliver the vehicle staged and ready for your tour or activation.
